Road closures - West Liberty Street between South Main Street and State Street and South Main Street between East Huron Street and East William Street (7 AM - 11 PM, Saturday, August 1)

Ann Arbor Pride Festival will close West Liberty Street between Main Street and State Street, and Main Street between Huron Street and William Street, 7 AM - 11 PM, Saturday, August 1. The following detours will be in place:

Intersections along the closure route will remain open to traffic, except where construction activities require otherwise.

Drivers should expect delays in downtown Ann Arbor and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Intersection Closure - North Main Street and Ann Street Intersection (7 AM, Monday, July 27 - 5 PM, Thursday, September 17)
As part of the Ann Street Improvement Project, the North Main Street and Ann Street intersection will be closed July 27 - September 17 for the City of Ann Arbor to install utilities and resurface the roadway. The following detours will be in place:

Vehicle traffic on North Main Street:

Southbound traffic (US-23 Business) will be detoured by traveling west on M-14, then south on North Maple Road, then east on Jackson Avenue/West Huron Street (I-94 Business).

Northbound traffic will be detoured by traveling east on East Huron Street, then north on North Division Street, then west on Catherine Street.

Southbound traffic will be detoured by traveling west on Miller Avenue, then south on North Ashley Street, then east on West Huron Street.

Intersection Closure - South State Street and Stimson Street Intersection (7:30 AM, Monday, July 27 - 6 PM, Wednesday, August 5)
The Ann Arbor Railroad will be removing and rebuilding the railroad crossing at grade from July 27 - August 5. The following detours will be in place:

Vehicles and cyclists on South State Street

Northbound through-traffic will be detoured east on East Eisenhower Parkway, then north on Packard Street back to South State Street.

Southbound through-traffic will be detoured south on Packard Street, then west on East Eisenhower Parkway back to South State Street.

Pedestrians:

North of the closure will be detoured onto Henry Street using the east sidewalk.

East of the closure will be detoured on White Street using the north sidewalk.
-
South of the closure will be detoured east on East Eisenhower Parkway, north on South Industrial Highway, then west on Stimson Street.

Emergency vehicles are advised to follow the posted detour.

The Hadley Family Recreation & Well-Being Center pedestrian bridge will be closed from Thursday, August 6 - no later than Wednesday morning, August 26 to allow for repairs and recoating. The following detours will be in place:

Medical Center Campus

Lane Closures - westbound Ann Street and southbound Observatory Street (Monday, August 3 - Saturday, August 22)

The Zina Pitcher, Ann, Catherine (ZPAC) Road Improvement Project will move to the next phase of construction and shift the lane closures to westbound Ann Street and southbound Observatory Street. Traffic will be restricted to using northbound Observatory Street and westbound Ann Street for August. The following detours will be in place:

Eastbound Ann Street and southbound Observatory Street will be detoured via Glen Avenue, to Huron Street and Washtenaw Avenue, to Geddes Avenue, to Observatory Street, to East Medical Center Drive.

Access to the Kahn Healthcare Pavilion, Cardiovascular Center, Couzens Hall, Simpson Institute, and the Detroit Observatory will be maintained.
