Abby
Hi everyone! My name is Abby, and I am a current fourth-year student at the University of Michigan pursuing a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Linguistics through the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA). I have always loved learning about the brain and what makes it capable of the incredible things it does, as well as how that translates to what makes people unique. Similarly, I have always felt called to help others. For these reasons, I chose to pursue a career in Psychology. After graduation, I will continue my education at the graduate level in School Psychology, helping kids develop the educational and social skills they need to succeed.
Alex
Hello! My name is Alex. Starting with some of the more fun things about me, I really enjoy working out, lifting weights, running, playing soccer, and spending time with friends and family. I also really like playing video games. Right now, I’ve been playing Pragmata and Ratchet & Clank. I enjoy meeting new people, having conversations about different perspectives and experiences, and finding new places around campus and Ann Arbor. On the academic side, I am a senior at the University of Michigan studying Political Science on the pre-law track, and I plan to graduate in May 2027. I originally came to U-M studying neuroscience, but over time I realized that I was much more interested in politics, law, public speaking, debate, and understanding how institutions and decisions affect people’s lives. Switching to Political Science allowed me to study subjects that I genuinely enjoy while also moving me closer to my long-term goal of attending law school and becoming an attorney.
Outside of Resource Navigators, I am also continuing my involvement with the Global Scholars Program, where I work with students and help facilitate community-building and conversations. As I get closer to graduation, I am also looking forward to preparing for the LSAT, applying what I have learned throughout college, and figuring out where the next stage of my life takes me.

Hello reader, my name is Anya. Starting with the fun facts, I enjoy making art, mainly fiber arts like crochet, sewing, or knitting. You can also find me baking, playing cozy games, doing fun exercise like dancing, and exploring Ann Arbor. I am a Cook Scholar who graduated from Byron in ‘22. On a more academic note: I am a Master’s student in the manufacturing engineering program (graduating Dec. ‘26). I received my undergraduate degree from U-M as well, majoring in mechanical engineering with a concentration in manufacturing (graduated Dec. ‘25). I chose to study mechanical engineering because it combined my interests in creativity (as seen in my hobbies list) and the ability to make change. I pivoted to manufacturing for a few reasons. First, the degree plan allowed me to do an unofficial focus in what I have been calling environmental sustainability, something I am wildly passionate about. Also, manufacturing is something I am drawn to like a magnet, throughout my life I have many little memories with manufacturing in them and I find any manufacturing content overwhelmingly interesting.
This will be my second semester as a part of the Resource Navigator team so I am excited to see how the fall semesters differ from what we got up to this spring/summer! Additionally, I am teaching ME250 again this semester so I am looking forward to that. Lastly, I am ready to see where life takes me after graduation in December.

Hi, I’m Cesar! I’m a graduate student in the School of Information, specializing in agile development. I chose this career path because of my passion for full-stack development and my desire to create meaningful digital solutions from the ground up. I’m especially drawn to the process of transforming an idea into a functional, thoughtfully designed product that can make a meaningful impact. One of my long term goals is to establish my own consulting firm focused on developing innovative digital solutions that help organizations solve complex problems.
This year is particularly meaningful to me as I enter the final year of grad school. I’m looking forward to challenging myself, continuing to grow both personally and professionally, and making the most of my time at Michigan. Above all, I want to finish this chapter with purpose, knowing that I made every opportunity, experience, and memory count.

Hi! I’m Daniel, a senior at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business studying Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. I’ve always been interested in understanding how businesses work and how people make decisions, which has led me to explore everything from investing and entrepreneurship to marketing and strategy. This year, my main goal is to make the most of my final year at Michigan while continuing to grow both academically and professionally. I’m excited to build on my experiences in finance and investing, take on new challenges, and figure out what I want to pursue after graduation.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, hiking and watching and discussing movies. I’m a big fan of Howl’s Moving Castle. I enjoy learning new things and having conversations with people who have different interests and perspectives.

Hi! I’m Justin, a senior at the University of Michigan studying Computer Engineering. I have always enjoyed learning how technology works, while also wanting a degree that gives me flexibility in what I can pursue after college.
This year, my main goal is to finish my final year smoothly and make the most of my remaining time at Michigan. I’m also applying to graduate school, so I’m looking forward to figuring out what comes next and hopefully continuing my education after graduation.
Outside of school, I’m a big soccer fan. I enjoy both playing and watching soccer, and it has always been one of my favorite ways to relax and spend time with friends.

Hello! My name is Logan. I'm a transfer student from Wayne State University, and I'm now a junior at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Making the jump to a new school as an upperclassman had its challenges, but it's also given me a real appreciation for the resources and community here.
I'm studying Biology, Health and Society, with my sights set on dental school. I chose this path because dentistry sits right at the intersection of things I care about: hands-on clinical work, human connection, and the kind of tangible problem-solving where you can see the direct impact of your work on someone's health and confidence. BHS has been a great foundation for that goal — it blends the hard science I need with a broader look at how health operates within communities and society, which I think will make me a more well-rounded, empathetic provider down the road.
This year, I'm looking forward to building on that foundation: diving deeper into my coursework, gaining more hands-on experience as I work toward dental school applications, and continuing to grow in my role helping fellow students navigate their own resources. Living on this campus has also made it easy to feel settled in Ann Arbor, and I'm excited to keep exploring the city and experiencing all that it. Overall, it feels like a big year of growth — academically, professionally, and personally.

Hello everyone! My name is London and this is my first semester being a Resource Navigator! I’m an incoming junior and I’m majoring in Political Science while working toward adding a minor in sustainability. I chose this path because I’m hoping to attend law school in the near future and potentially pursue a career in environmental law! During my time in undergrad, I’ve developed an interest in understanding how politics and the environment interact with each other, so I’m excited to explore these interests further this semester!
As a new Resource Navigator I’m excited to help others find new opportunities and resources that can help students reach their academic and career goals. I’m looking forward to connecting with fellow students and helping them navigate everything U-M has to offer. Outside of academics, I enjoy painting, opera, and I’m a huge animal lover. This upcoming school year, I’m looking forward to joining new student organizations, learning new things, and making new friends!
