The First Generation Student Gateway serves as a starting point to get connected to resources for first-generation students. Housed in the Office of Academic Multicultural Initiatives (OAMI), the Gateway is linked to several partner offices and is a home for support for first-generation students. The Gateway is for all first-generation undergraduate and graduate students and their allies.

The fraternity and sorority community at Michigan has provided opportunities for students outside of the classroom for more than 175 years. The more than 50 organizations on our campus promote scholarship, leadership, friendship, and community.

The U-M International Center provides a variety of services to assist international students, scholars, faculty and staff at the University of Michigan, as well as U-M American students seeking opportunities to study, work, or travel abroad.

Michigan Dining has nine dining halls and multiple retail locations across campus. We provide delicious food and create memorable experiences for the campus community.
