With a user base that has grown to over 360,000 at hundreds of institutions, MeetYourClass presents an incredibly focused, yet inherently social experience that differentiates itself from mainstream platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. Their goal is not to replace these websites, but to seamlessly integrate with them, reaching students in a more targeted way.
MeetYourClass offers college-specific feeds and profile customization that includes photos, hometown, major, interests, and desired connections—be it friends, roommates, or study partners. The peer-assisted “verification of admission” status adds a layer of trust and exclusivity. Moreover, interactive features like posting questions and polls invoke a familiar sense of community similar to traditional social media.
