Ann Arbor is known for it’s unique and rich fair and festival culture. Regardless of what time of year it is, there seems to always be something happening to celebrate art, music, food, and life!
Ann Arbor Street Art Fair
The first fair on our list is probably the most known one, the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair. It’s usually held during the last weekend of July and people and vendors come to Ann Arbor from all over the country to show off their different types of artwork and people come out to buy it.
Fool Moon & Festifools
Ann Arbor’s very own Fool Moon and Festifools happen in the beginning of April every year dating back 10 years ago. A U of M professor started both festivals with his class and they have been apart of Ann Arbor’s annual festivals ever since. Fool Moon takes place at midnight the night before Festifools which is a festival that lets everyone just be creative and showcase their huge paper mache creations up and down Main Street! Ann Arbor Summer Festival
Last and certainly not least, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival! This is an annual festival too. It encompasses music and art as well and it runs for about 4 weeks throughout the summer. It’s main focus is to get the whole ann arbor community together to have a great time and enjoy the summer! There’s indoor and outdoor events, for example, indoors there may be movies screened and outdoors there may be concerts! There’s something to do for everyone here at this festival!
