Campus Information

Looking for a fun and easy way to learn about getting involved on campus this year? How about a way to meet people who are interested in the same things you are? Or maybe a way to spend a few hours during Welcome Week? Look no further than the Michigan Union and Art Museum!

This year, Escapade and Artscapade will be on Thursday, August 29th from 8pm-11pm in the Michigan Union and UMMA (University of Michigan Museum of Art). It is FREE, there will be food and fun, and you can get ready for a year of activities with 4,000 other students.

In the Union, some performance based groups will be showcasing their skills in front of everyone. Others may be recruiting for a summer trip, volunteer work around the hospital and campus, or an athletic club team. At UMMA, there will be art-making, live music, dance, and poetry. These events will show you all of the different ways to participate in art during the year.

Each organization and program will have all the information you need to decide what kind of work the group does, the ammount of commitment, and any follow-up meetings they will be having during September.

This is the best way to get tons of information in a quick and easy manner, so don't miss it!
