With Halloween swiftly approaching, we have some fun costumes that will help any Wolverine win the “Best Costume” Award. Our creative costumes will help you make plenty of new friends this spooky Halloween.
1. Rick and Morty
Grab your bestie, and travel to another dimension as Rick and Morty! Be creative. Dress as pickle Rick, Seal Team Rick, or tiny Rick. If you have a large entourage dress as Rick’s notable sidekicks, enemies, or family members including Summer, Mr. Meeseeks, Birdperson, or Squanchy. Whatever route you go with your costume, you’re sure to steal the show!
2. Michigan Squirrel
You have to love those chubby, friendly, Michigan squirrels! Wear brown, secure some paper ears to a headband, and, if you have some, create a tail with cardboard. Use this as an opportunity to munch all night and carry around some peanuts.
2017 has been the year of some pretty amazing memes that we can all pretty much relate to. You’ll have everyone impressed when you walk into the room as Salt bae, Shouting Meryl Streep, or Pennywise. The list is certainly not limited to that.
4. Early 2000’s Disney Character
You never really appreciate things until they're gone, right? Early 2000’s Disney Channel was home to classic tv shows such as Kim Possible, Even Steven’s, Proud Family, and That’s So Raven. Grab your favorite character and pay homage to that best era of Disney Channel this year!
5. Classic Cat
You can never go wrong with dressing as a cat for Halloween! Being a cat is very versatile because you can dress up it up or down as much as you want. Very good for those aren’t into very over the top Halloween costumes, and affordable.
6. Michigan Super Fan
You still have those pom poms from your first Michigan game, right? Now is the time to break them out as well as all of your other outrageous gear! Paint your face maize and blue, wear those striped overalls, shake those poms, and you’re ready to go! You can’t go wrong with game day gear!
I hope you enjoyed these ideas. If you use any of these Michigan-themed costumes or create your own, tweet @umichcampusinfo and use #umichhalloween to show them off! Remember to be respectful, be safe, and go blue!
