With the recent heat wave we’ve had, many of you may have been searching for a body of water to cool off. If you don’t feel like drifting down the Huron River, there is another option – the Fuller Park Pool!

Fuller Park Pool is located right by North Campus and offers a waterslide, 50 meter outdoor lap pool, shallow area, and a 12’ deep diving area. It’s the perfect place to relax in the comfortable lounge chairs surrounding the pool or have a picnic in any of the grassy areas nearby. Public swim time is every day from 1-8pm, and 4-7 lanes are always available for swimmers who wish to do laps. Daily admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and youth ages 4-17, and free for children 3 and under.

In addition to the attractions listed above, the pool will be offering one last Summer Splash Day on Saturday, August 17, from 2 to 4pm. There will be special games, contests, and prizes that are sure to be fun for kids of all ages! No sign up is required.

As I mentioned before, Fuller Park Pool is a great place to relax, tan, and swim, so be sure to take of advantage of it before this beautiful summer weather starts turning chilly!

Stay Cool,
