Commencement guidelines

Graduation is quickly approaching which means that it’s time to start hammering out travel plans for the big day. Spring Commencement will take place at 10:00am on May 3rd in the Big House and the speaker is Mary Barra, the CEO of General Motors.

Graduates should begin arriving at the stadium at 8:00am with the procession lasting from 8:45 am-9:40 am. This is the perfect time for visitors to come and find their seats in the big house before the beginning of commencement.  The ceremony will begin at 10:00 and the ceremony should end at approximately 11:45. It is suggested that visitors pre-plan a spot to meet your graduate so you can take pictures and exit with ease.

The Big House is located 1201 S Main St. with nearby parking and shuttles running to and from the morning of commencement. There is parking located across the street at Pioneer High School for $10 as well.

Contact specific departments for information on other commencement ceremonies happening throughout the weekend.

If you have questions, check out the commencement website or send them an email:

Enjoy the special day and go blue!
