Fourth of July flag

Will you find yourself in Ann Arbor this 4th of July? Excellent, because there are endless opportunities for some family or neighborly fun during this year's weekend-long celebration.  Between the barbecues, the spontaneous yard games, and the excitement of the Summer Festival - Ann Arbor tops off our calendars with some All-American fun this holiday! 


Parades are a fun activity for all, as they encompas the excitement of the holiday and show patriotism. Stop by one of these parades on the 4th to experience some of that excitement! 

Jaycee's 4th of July Parade - July 4th 10am 

Downtown Ann Arbor, Main Street Area

Ypsi Independence Day Parade - July 4th 11am 

Starts at the intersection of Oakwood and Cross, ends at Rice in Historic Depot Town 


Fourth of July is notorious for large firework shows! 

Fireworks and Music at the Metroparks - July 5th 5:30pm-11pm

Car Shows

Car shows are an interesting outing for all.  Check out historic and classic cars over the holiday weekend with exhibits, attractions, and test-drives!

Delhi Metropark 

3902 E. Delhi Road

Ann Arbor, MI 48103 

This park is made of 53 acres of land along the Huron River.  You can utilize the picnic shelters for your get-togethers, or canoe the river!

Fuller Park & Pool

1519 Fuller Road - Across from the Medical Campus

This park has soccer fields (by reservation), a 50 meter pool, water slides, concessions during pool hours, a play aream and picnic tables!
