Kerrytown market

At U of M, we are fortunate enough to have Kerrytown right at our fingertips.  Consisting of Ann Arbor’s Historic District, Kerrytown is one place you don’t want to miss during your time in Ann Arbor. One of Kerrytown’s most treasured events is the outdoor fresh farmer’s market. Hours vary from season to season, so it is best to check the website before visiting.  After picking up your fresh, local produce, step inside the Irish inspired building to find fresh seafood and meats year-round. But there’s more than just good food to be found. You can find anything from a barber shop to a furniture store in the heart of Kerrytown.  From sustainable clothing to whimsical art, you can find just about anything looking through the one of a kind stores this part of town has to offer.

Check out the Kerrytown Concert House while you’re exploring the town ! Here you’ll find poetry slams, cello performances, art exhibits and more. For a full calendar of events at the Concert House, click here.

While you’re in Kerrytown, stop by the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. With tons of interactive exhibits, it is entertaining for all ages!

Before you leave, make sure you look around Motte & Bailey Booksellers. This bookshop specializes in rare finds ranging from American and European history to children’s books. With over 8,500 titles in stock, you’ll be sure to find something you’ll love.

With so much to do and see in Kerrytown, it’s definitely not something you’ll want to miss!
