Art fair food stands

I don’t know about you, but I love food and I love to eat. There are very few things that excite me more than new restaurants or food vendors to try, as well as new venues to experience them in. This is one of the main reasons I love the Ann Arbor Art Fair. The fair takes over the central downtown of the city for the weekend, and while the art is great and all, this also means delicious food vendors dotting the streets. Outside the Michigan Union, you can find your typical fair food, including the MOST DELICIOUS kettle corn, lemonade shakes, and hot dogs. Aside from your typical tent foods like funnel cakes and French fries, scattered throughout the rest of the fair, certain vendors also offer a various assortment of specialized cuisine from restaurants across the city. Greek, Asian, Creole, and Indian food are just some of the different options you will have to choose from when satisfying that grumbling stomach.

Food vendors must reapply every year to gain a spot in the art fair, so while there are consistent returners, there is also generally a new variety of food options to choose from every year. There is not a comprehensive list of all of the choices on the map or as an online resource, so your best bet is to just explore and to keep an open mind trying new things!!
