This Friday, everyone’s favorite festival kicks off in Ann Arbor. More than 140 concerts, outdoor movie screenings, art displays and performances, and other special attractions will be gracing campus and the downtown area between June 13th and July 6th. This season’s lineup consists of a variety of local, national, and international talent – we’re talking nearby places, like two-streets-over, and distant lands, like Australia – all aiming to entertain. Awesome ticketed acts will be taking place at the Power Center, but if spending any second of your precious summer inside isn’t your thing, then Top of the Park offers an outdoor alternative on the steps of Rackham (Ingall’s Mall area). After Dark live music sessions and Wine and Beer tastings will also take place at The Grove stage (near the MLB and the Burton Memorial Tower). An assortment of other activities, such as bike nights, architecture exhibits, yoga retreats, and more will be available at various locations on campus – not to mention the local offers, specials, and sales available throughout the downtown area. Essentially, A LOT will be occurring, and you won’t want to miss a second of it.
