Basketball keeps the maize and blue student spirit alive
For the first time since the “Fab Five” and the 1992-93 season, the University of Michigan was the #1 college basketball team in the country for the last week of January! So yes, we’re kind of a big deal.
Unfortunately, this early in the season holding the #1 spot for long was no guarantee for our boys. With a tough lineup ahead, it may be difficult for our team to keep up a top ranking. Luckily for us, we have a team featuring the likes of Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway, and breakout freshman, Glenn Robinson III.
In either the student section or the upper deck, there’s not a bad seat in the house in the all new, completely redesigned Crisler Center. And if you can’t make it out, be sure to catch the Wolverines on the Big Ten Network. Also, the student section - AKA Maize Rage - is the place to be for basketball games! Be sure to check it out if you attend a game.
